Medical-Surgical RN | Night Shift | Waycross, GA
This 13-week contract (with a 91-week total commitment available) places you on a general Medical-Surgical unit in Waycross, GA, working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Unit Overview
The Med-Surg unit provides care for general adult medical-surgical patients. Support staff includes a unit secretary on day shift and patient care technicians. Bedside shift report and safety rounding are standard practice on this unit.
Schedule & Float Requirements
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Every other weekend required; holidays rotate with permanent staff
- Float potential to other Med-Surg units, the ED (for Med-Surg holds), or ICU/PCU (for Med-Surg level patients)
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg RN experience
- BLS certification required
- Strong skills in general medical-surgical patient care
- Navy blue scrubs
