Medical-Surgical RN — Waycross, GA | 13-Week Travel Contract

Join a busy Medical-Surgical unit in Waycross, Georgia, where staff describe a caring, collaborative culture with supportive management and a strong focus on patient and family experience.

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required; holidays rotate with staff employees

Unit Overview

This Med-Surg unit provides care for general medical-surgical patients across a range of acuity levels. The unit is supported by a Unit Secretary on day shift and Patient Care Technicians. Travelers may be asked to float to another Med-Surg unit, to the ED to care for Med-Surg holds, or to the ICU/PCU to manage Med-Surg level patients.

Patient Experience Standards

• Bedside shift report
• Safety rounding

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of consecutive Med-Surg nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• Strong skills in general medical-surgical patient care
