Join a dedicated Labor & Delivery team providing high-quality, compassionate care to mothers and newborns. This is a 13-week travel assignment with a consistent day shift schedule.
Assignment Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (day shift)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Start Date: November 1, 2026
- Scrubs: Hospital laundered scrubs provided
Unit Overview
You'll work in an active Labor and Delivery unit caring for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients. The role involves continuous fetal monitoring, labor support, vaginal and cesarean birth assistance, and management of obstetric complications. Candidates should be comfortable with a fast-paced environment and a varied patient acuity range.
Required Certifications & Licensure
- Active RN license (must be verifiable through Nursys)
- License/certificate verification required at submission
Onboarding Requirements
- Specialty exam and core competency assessment
- EKG exam
- Point-of-care glucose testing competency
- Background check, employment verification, and education verification
- Two professional references
Immunizations & Health Screening
- MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, Influenza
- 2-Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/T-Spot)
- Fit test and health statement
- 11-panel drug screen
Ideal Candidate
- Prior Labor & Delivery experience required
- Comfortable with electronic fetal monitoring documentation
- Strong team communication and independent clinical judgment
