Operating Room Nurse – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility's operating room is seeking an experienced OR nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll support surgical procedures in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Schedule & Hours
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Schedule: 4 x 10-hour days, 40 hours per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (88 guaranteed hours)
- Start Date: December 1, 2026
Call Requirements
Call is assigned by unit needs and includes:
- Rotating backup call: approximately one day every other week
- Weekend call: approximately one 24-hour shift per month
- Additional call may be assigned as needed based on OR staffing demands
Requirements
- 3+ years of nursing experience (travel experience required)
- Current RN license
- BLS certification
- MA licensure
What to Expect
You'll work alongside the OR team to facilitate surgical cases, manage patient flow, and maintain a safe, efficient operating environment. This is an active assignment with on-call responsibilities built into the role.
