Medical-Surgical Nursing — Nights
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical nurse for night-shift coverage. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced med/surg unit, managing a diverse patient population across multiple acuity levels.
Shift & Schedule
- Nights: 18:45 – 07:15 (12-hour shifts)
- Rotating schedule: 4×12s one week (48 hours), then 3×12s the next week (36 hours)
- 4×12s week: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
- 3×12s week: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call duties
- Holidays worked only if they fall on your scheduled shift
- Contract length: 90 weeks with guaranteed hours
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Valid MS nursing license or compact license
- BLS certification (AHA)
Preferred
- 5+ years nursing experience
- ACLS certification
