ICU Nurse – Travel Position

Location: Clanton, AL

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (nights)

Duration: 13 weeks

Schedule: 36 hours/week

Start Date: November 30, 2026

About the Role

The facility's ICU is seeking a compassionate, experienced RN to provide direct care to critically ill patients. You'll manage complex cases requiring intensive monitoring, advanced life support, and rapid clinical decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to high-acuity patients requiring close monitoring and advanced interventions
• Manage ventilators, arterial lines, central lines, and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
• Administer titratable vasoactive and sedation drips per physician orders
• Assess and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with intensivists and interdisciplinary teams on plan of care
• Perform rapid response and code interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation
• Provide patient and family education
• Follow infection control and safety protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (state or compact)
• 1+ years recent ICU/critical care experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and titratable drips
• Travel nursing experience required

Preferred

• BSN
• CCRN certification
