Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse

Position Overview

Join the cardiovascular operating room team for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work in a dynamic OR environment performing a variety of cardiac and vascular procedures.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• On-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time
• No floating to other departments

Clinical Scope

You'll circulate across all service lines, with common cases including:

• CABG (traditional and robotic)
• Robotic lung procedures
• Valve repairs and replacements
• Femoral-popliteal interventions
• TAVRs and EVAR procedures
• Vascular cases

Scrubbing is not required for RNs but is a valued skill.

Support & Resources

• Day and evening charge nurses on staff
• PCAs assist with room turnover and support tasks
• Hospital scrubs provided
• Electronic health record system in place

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS (AHA) certification

Contract Details

• 13 weeks
• Start date: November 16, 2026
• Hospital may cancel up to 3 shifts within the assignment period
