Med/Surg Telemetry RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for night shifts. You'll provide direct patient care on a medical/surgical telemetry unit, monitoring patients with cardiac and general medical/surgical conditions.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 4 × 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 20, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications (in hand at time of submission)
• Permanent Ohio license or active compact state license (in hand at time of submission)
• One professional reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director from specialty work within the past 12 months)
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Clear background check and license verification

What to Expect

You'll complete orientation-based assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety evaluations. You have two attempts to achieve passing scores; failure to pass will result in contract cancellation. Annual competency assessments are required if you extend beyond 12 months.

Additional Information

• Negative 10-panel drug screen required within 12 months of start (updated annually)
• Contract extensions available up to 18 months; a 6-month break follows
• BCI/FBI clearance must be completed within 48 hours of signing
