Med/Surg Telemetry RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift assignment. You'll provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit, monitoring patients with cardiac and post-surgical conditions while supporting the interdisciplinary care team.

Shift & Schedule

• 4 x 12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 20, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Current, active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) from work within the past 12 months
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (maximum 2 attempts)
• Background check clearance (no open cases; no license hits)
• Background investigation (BCI/FBI print) must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing

Vaccines

COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered).

Contract Terms

Extensions available up to 18 months; 6-month break required thereafter (may be deferred on a case-by-case basis).

What to Expect

Orientation will include facility-specific modules and competency assessments. Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free requirements.
