Registered Respiratory Therapist – 3×12 Nights
The Role
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week contract to provide respiratory care and diagnostic procedures to cardiopulmonary patients across all ages and acuity levels, including neonatal intensive care.
You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week with rotating call and weekend responsibilities. This is a fast-paced role requiring strong critical care and ventilator management skills in a diverse patient population.
Requirements
- NBRC RRT certification (required; CRT not considered)
- Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license
- Minimum 5 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Neonatal and pediatric experience, including Level 2 NICU
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (AAP) certifications — all mandatory
- Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program
- Experienced travelers only; first-time assignments not considered
- Flu vaccination required (mandatory Oct 1–Apr 1; no declinations)
Important Notes
- Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility (radius rule)
- Colorado CAPS registration required; allow up to two weeks for approval
- Start date: November 17, 2026
