ICU Nurse – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

Join the facility's critical care team as an ICU nurse in a conglomerate unit managing medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patients. You'll care for high-acuity patients requiring advanced hemodynamic and respiratory support while maintaining the flexibility to float between ICU and Step Down units as needed.

Clinical Scope

This role encompasses post-operative cardiac care (TAVR, CABG, CEA, fem-pop bypass, thoracotomy), acute coronary syndromes (STEMI, TNK administration), cerebrovascular events (CVA), sepsis, respiratory failure, and metabolic emergencies (DKA, GIB). You'll manage patients on mechanical ventilation, HFNC, IABP, Impella, CRRT, and provide therapeutic temperature management (TTM). Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring is essential.

Shift & Schedule

• Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Start Date: November 22, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years critical care experience
• Current RN license (verification required)
• ACLS certification (EPLS required for onboarding)
• Ability to float within critical care service lines
• Completion of facility-specific competency exams, including EKG and specialty certification
• Current immunizations and negative TB screening
