A busy Labor & Delivery unit in Asheville, NC is seeking an experienced L&D RN for a 16-week travel contract beginning October 8, 2026.
Shift Details
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekends and on-call not required (available upon approval)
Unit Overview
This active L&D unit manages the full spectrum of obstetric care, from routine vaginal deliveries to high-acuity cases. Common procedures include vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-hysterectomy. The unit staffs charge nurses, PCTs, CSTs, and RNs on both day and night shifts.
Float Areas: MFM/MOMB/NICU
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of L&D experience
- High-risk obstetric experience
- Immediate newborn care competency
- Active certifications: NRP, BLS/ALS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring
Preferred
- Circulating experience in the OR for cesarean sections

Scrubs provided by the facility.
