ICU Registered Nurse | New York City, NY | 13-Week Contract

This travel RN opportunity is based in an intensive care unit in New York City, NY, caring for critically ill patients requiring continuous monitoring and advanced intervention. The unit manages high-acuity cases, with nurses expected to respond rapidly to changes in patient status and deliver expert, compassionate care throughout.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract starting November 23, 2026

Clinical Responsibilities

• Administer and titrate vasoactive and sedation drips per physician orders
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Provide ventilator management and advanced life support interventions
• Perform conscious sedation and IV insertion/phlebotomy
• Execute rapid response and code interventions as needed
• Collaborate with intensivists and interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on condition, treatment, and care needs

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verification via NYSED required)
• Minimum 2 years of critical care (ICU) experience
• Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience
• Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
• AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications
• ASN/ADN from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)

Preferred

• CCRN certification

Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. This is a demanding, high-acuity environment suited for experienced ICU nurses ready to thrive in a fast-paced New York City clinical setting.
