Inpatient Rehabilitation RN — Night Shift | Greensboro, NC

13-Week Contract | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

This travel RN role is based in an inpatient rehabilitation unit providing specialized nursing care to adults and geriatric patients recovering from complex neurological and post-surgical events. Patient diagnoses include CVA, TBI, acquired brain injury (ABI), spinal cord injury, and generalized debility, including post-stroke, post-aneurysm, and post-operative cases.

Schedule & Coverage

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Every 3rd weekend required; holidays as needed
• Float required between campuses as needed

Patient Care & Responsibilities

• Interpret laboratory results; perform medication reconciliation
• Document patient history, allergies, vital signs, and PHQ assessments
• Dressing changes; set up aseptic/sterile procedure trays
• Specimen collection including phlebotomy, capillary draws, UA clean catch
• Telephone ; pharmacy calls and refill coordination

• Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, phlebotomy, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of acute care rehab experience
• No first-time travelers
• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS required
• EKG exam required (2 attempts allowed)
• Acute care rehab experience preferred
• No local candidates within 50 miles

Additional Details

• Orientation: 24 hours
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Requested time off must be submitted with application; no post-submission RTO accepted
• Contract start: November 16, 2026
