Certified Surgical Technologist – Day Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team. You'll support a diverse surgical program serving pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients across multiple specialties.
Shift & Schedule
- Day Shift: 40 hours per week (mix of 8-hour and 10-hour shifts)
- On-Call: 6–7 shifts per month, including every 4th or 5th weekend (Friday afternoon through 6:30 AM Monday), plus individual nights (5:00 PM–6:30 AM)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- RTO (Return Time Off): Maximum 3 days; no exceptions
- Non-Local Requirement: Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility
Clinical Scope
You'll work across general surgery, orthopedics (including total joint replacements), gynecology (including cesarean sections), urology, and sports medicine spine procedures.
Required Credentials & Experience
- NH Medical Technician certification (must be in hand at profile upload; no pending applications)
- Surgical Tech certification: NBSTSA or TS-C (NCCT)
- Current BLS (American Heart Association)
- Documented proficiency in total joints and cesarean sections
- Supervisory reference from past year of employment
- Previous travel healthcare experience highly preferred
