Emergency Department Nursing – 16-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 16-week contract assignment. You'll work in a fast-paced environment providing direct patient care across a range of acuities and presentations.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM
- Days: Every other weekend
- Call: None
- Dress Code: Ceil blue scrubs
Contract Details
- Duration: 16 weeks
- Start Date: November 1, 2026
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Holiday Commitment: 2 out of 3 holidays
Required Licenses & Certifications
- Current nursing license (verification required)
- EPLS (or equivalent)
- Immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap
- TB screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/TSPOT)
- Fit test
- Background check and drug screen
- Driver's license/State ID
Onboarding Requirements
You'll complete facility-specific competency assessments including EKG, specialty exam, and system orientation prior to your start date.
