Medical-Surgical Nurse – Nights
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a registered nurse for its medical-surgical unit on the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule & Staffing
- 36-hour/48-hour rotating schedule, every other week
- No floating required — you'll remain on the med-surg unit
- Local candidates preferred
Requirements
- Active RN license
- BLS certification (required)
- ACLS certification (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
What You'll Do
You'll provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit, managing a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels. Responsibilities include assessments, medication administration, wound care, post-operative monitoring, and patient education.
