Emergency Department RN — Pediatric | Atlanta, GA

Day Shift | 13-Week Contract

This pediatric emergency department role offers a fast-paced clinical environment caring for a diverse pediatric patient population. The ED manages a high volume of acute presentations including sickle cell pain and fever, asthma exacerbations, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), acute gastroenteritis, behavioral health crises, and fever workups across all pediatric age groups.

Shift Details

• 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
• 36 hours per week (three 12-hour shifts)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to other campuses may be required

Clinical Scope

• Administration of insulin drips, sedation drips, and resuscitation medications (all medications except chemotherapy)
• Strong IV skills required
• High-acuity pediatric emergency care

Requirements

• Active Georgia RN license or compact equivalent
• 2+ years of recent Emergency Department experience
• Pediatric ED experience highly preferred
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS required
• TNCC certification a strong plus

Additional Requirements

• Nicotine-free facility; nicotine testing included in drug screen
• Flu vaccine mandatory — no exceptions or declinations accepted
