Progressive Care Unit – RN
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 4 x 12-hour days per week
- 13-week contract
- 48 guaranteed hours per week
About the Unit
You'll work in a progressive care setting managing post-cardiac catheterization patients and cardiac-focused cases, including overflow admissions. This is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and strong assessment skills are essential.
Your Role
- Provide direct patient care to acutely ill cardiac and post-procedure patients
- Monitor hemodynamics, EKG rhythms, and vital sign trends
- Collaborate with cardiologists and interdisciplinary teams
- Document care in the electronic health record system
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (verification required at submission)
- ACLS certification
- Ability to pass skills assessment
- Two professional references
Required Before Onboarding
- Immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap
- TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Fit test
- Drug screening
- Background check
- EKG competency exam
- Electronic health record competency assessment
