Telemetry / Medical-Surgical RN — Concord, MA
This is an 88-week contract position on a Telemetry/Med-Surg unit in Concord, MA, with day shifts running 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, three shifts per week (36 guaranteed hours).
Schedule & Commitments
- 12-hour day shifts, 3×12 weekly
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday required
- Must be available to work either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day based on unit need — RTOs for both days will not be accepted
Clinical Scope
The unit provides telemetry monitoring and medical-surgical care for a diverse acute care patient population. Nurses are expected to perform competent cardiac rhythm interpretation; a telemetry competency test is administered on the first day of orientation. Floating to similar units may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- BLS certification (ARC or AHA)
- Minimum 3 years of Medical/Surgical or Telemetry experience
- Telemetry experience strongly preferred
