Night Shift Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Telemetry
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. You'll provide direct patient care on a busy telemetry floor, monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing post-acute medical-surgical patients.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend and every other holiday
- Flexibility required: You must be available to work either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day based on unit need. No requests for time off will be accepted for these days.
Contract Details
- 88-week assignment
- Guaranteed 36 hours weekly
Requirements
- Massachusetts RN License
- BLS Certification (ARC or AHA)
- 3+ years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience
- Telemetry experience required
- Travel nursing experience required
- 2024/2025 Flu vaccine required before start date
- Telemetry competency assessment administered on day one of orientation
What You'll Do
Monitor patients on telemetry, manage post-operative and acute medical patients, interpret cardiac rhythms, and provide compassionate bedside care in a fast-paced telemetry environment.
