Night Shift Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry
About the Role
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in a mixed medical-surgical and telemetry unit. You'll deliver coordinated patient care, supervise nursing staff, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure safe, compassionate outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze patient data to inform nursing diagnoses and individualized care plans
- Implement evidence-based interventions and coordinate care delivery across the healthcare team
- Monitor patient progress toward identified health outcomes and adjust care as needed
- Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning for continuity of care
- Delegate and supervise nursing team activities; exercise independent judgment and critical thinking
- Maintain a safe, healing environment
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California (required)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- At least 2 years of recent acute care experience, with solid telemetry experience (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required)
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Night shift, 36–48 hours per week
- Start Date: November 2, 2026
