Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry
Position Overview
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join a medical-surgical and telemetry unit. You will deliver coordinated nursing care to patients, supervise assigned nursing staff, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, compassionate patient outcomes.
Shift & Duration
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 13-week contract
- 36–48 hours per week
- Day shift
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status and analyze data to determine diagnoses and care needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patients and evaluate progress toward clinical outcomes
- Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing staff
- Provide patient and family education and health information
- Participate in discharge planning for continuity of care
- Delegate and coordinate team member duties
- Maintain a safe, healing environment
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in California
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care nursing experience
- Solid telemetry experience required (mixed medical-surgical and cardiac monitoring units)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
