Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical–Telemetry
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Location: Lodi, CA
About the Role
You'll deliver coordinated nursing care on mixed Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units, supervising and directing assigned nursing staff while coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team. This role requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to manage patient acuity in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate progress toward outcomes
- Supervise and delegate appropriately to nursing staff at various levels
- Monitor patients on telemetry and manage medical/surgical patient populations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, patients, and families to ensure safe, compassionate care
- Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
- Maintain a safe, healing environment while adhering to established standards of care
Requirements
- Current RN license (state of practice)
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care nursing experience
- Solid telemetry experience required
- Current BLS certification
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Guaranteed Hours: 36–48 hours per week
