Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its medical-surgical and telemetry units on the night shift. You'll deliver coordinated patient care, supervise nursing staff, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36–48 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Start date: November 2, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients and develop individualized care plans using the nursing process
- Monitor and manage patients with telemetry needs in a mixed medical-surgical environment
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff at various levels
- Implement patient care, evaluate progress toward outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to promote healing and safety
- Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate care delivery across disciplines
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in California
- Minimum two years of recent acute care experience
- Current BLS certification from an approved vendor
- ACLS certification
- Strong telemetry experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
