Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. You will deliver coordinated, high-quality nursing care to patients across the acuity spectrum, applying critical thinking and clinical judgment while supervising and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members.

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 or 48-hour work weeks
• 13-week contract
• Start date: November 16, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and analyze patient data; develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions to achieve clinical outcomes
• Coordinate care delivery with physicians, specialists, and support staff
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions
• Delegate tasks appropriately and support team members
• Participate in discharge planning for continuity of care
• Maintain a safe, healing environment

Required Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in California
• Minimum two years recent acute care experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC approved)
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification
• Electronic health record proficiency required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
