Night Shift RN – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced RN for night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on a mixed medical-surgical and telemetry unit. You'll deliver coordinated patient care, supervise nursing staff, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze patient health data to identify care needs and nursing diagnoses
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing team members
- Provide patient and family education to support understanding of care and recovery
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in discharge planning
- Monitor patients on telemetry and respond to cardiac rhythm changes
- Maintain a safe, healing environment and practice critical thinking in all patient interactions
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in California
- Current BLS/CPR certification from an approved vendor
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- Solid telemetry experience is essential
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior experience in acute care facilities
Assignment Details
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours: 36–48 hours per week
- Start Date: October 28, 2026
