Med/Surg Registered Nurse – Night Shift | Willits, CA
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (36–48 hours/week, nights)
Start Date: December 7, 2026
This Med/Surg position is based at a community hospital nestled in Northern California's redwood country, serving a patient population that values personalized, high-quality care. The unit offers a collaborative environment where nurses apply critical thinking and independent clinical judgment across a broad range of acute care cases.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering coordinated nursing care for assigned patient groups per established standards and the nursing process
- Supervising and directing nursing staff across varying experience levels
- Assessing patients, developing individualized care plans, and evaluating progress toward outcomes
- Coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to promote safe, patient-centered care
- Providing patient and family education and participating in discharge planning
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN licensure in the state of practice
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS (AHA) certification
- ACLS (AHA or ARC) certification
- PALS (AHA or ARC) – preferred
Additional Details:
- No specific scrub color required
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Acute care EMR experience required
