Outpatient Surgery / Endoscopy RN — Saint Helena, CA

4 x 10-Hour Days | Monday–Friday | ~9-Week Contract

This role is based in a fast-paced outpatient surgery and endoscopy environment. You'll work across pre-op, moderate sedation, endoscopy, and PACU Phase II workflows, supporting high patient turnover with a focus on efficiency and quality care. The unit also sees pre-op workups for open-heart and total joint patients.

Schedule

• 4 x 10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday
• Flexible start time between 5:30 AM and 11:00 AM depending on case volume
• Guaranteed 36 hours/week

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN license
• BLS (AHA or ARC) — required
• ACLS (AHA or ARC) — required
• PALS (AHA or ARC) — required
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience

Preferred Experience

• Endoscopy experience — required
• Outpatient surgery or perioperative background strongly preferred
• Comfort with pre-op and PACU Phase II workflows
• Experience with moderate sedation and rapid patient turnover
• BSN preferred

Clinical Scope

Nurses in this setting manage patients through the full perioperative continuum in an ambulatory environment. Comfort with quick patient throughput, procedural sedation monitoring, and multidisciplinary coordination is essential.
