OR Technologist – Travel Assignment

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an OR Technologist for a travel contract. You'll work in a dynamic operating room environment, supporting surgical teams and managing instrumentation, supplies, and equipment during procedures.

Schedule & Contract Terms

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5 eight-hour shifts per week)
• Contract Duration: 8–10 weeks (confirm your preference at application)
• Call & Holiday Coverage: Required
• Start Date: November 23, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of permanent OR technologist experience required
• Active Ohio license (must be in hand at submission; compact licenses accepted for starts 1/1/23 forward)
• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) required—non-supervisory references will not be accepted
• All certifications must be active; nothing pending
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions available)
• Compliant background check (no open cases or license hits)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen + nicotine screening required within 12 months of start; updated annually

Additional Details

• Onsite badging and fingerprinting required before start date
• Background checks are time-sensitive; must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Modules and competency assessments completed during orientation
• Contract extensions available up to 18 months; 6-month break required thereafter (may be deferred case-by-case)
