Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Certified Surgical First Assist or experienced CVOR nurse for a 13-week contract in Atlanta, GA. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced cardiovascular surgical environment while maintaining schedule flexibility.
Shift & Schedule
- 4 × 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours/week, approximately 70+ hours per four-week period)
- Weekday shifts: 5 PM–11 PM or 11 PM–7 AM
- Weekend/holiday shifts: 7 AM–7 PM or 7 PM–7 AM
- One Friday, one Saturday, and one Sunday shift per rotation (non-consecutive)
- Holiday rotation required, including weekends surrounding holidays
- Float to General OR as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
- Current RN license
- CNOR certification preferred
- Ability to work varied shift times and holiday schedules
