Emergency Department RN — Travel Contract | Lewisville, TX
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks | Guaranteed 36 hours/week
This Emergency Department opportunity places you in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment recognized for clinical excellence and strong nursing culture. The unit manages the full spectrum of emergency presentations — from fast-track complaints to critical resuscitations — with dedicated resource nurses available on every shift to support staff during high-volume and critical situations. Leadership maintains an active, visible presence on the floor.
Clinical Scope:
- Airway and resuscitation management
- Procedural sedation
- Chest tube placement
- Wound care and splinting
- High-acuity and critical care presentations
Shift Details:
- Night shift coverage with a robust nursing team; staffing adjusts through the night with mid-shift overlap
- No on-call requirement
- No float requirement
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- TNCC certification (required)
- Critical care experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- ENPC certification
- Ultrasound experience
- Strong IV skills
