ICU Registered Nurse | New York City, NY | 13-Week Contract

This travel RN opportunity places you in an intensive care unit in New York City, caring for critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring and life support. The unit manages high-acuity cases with a focus on hemodynamic instability, respiratory failure, and complex medical needs.

Shift Details

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 23, 2026

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, assessing and responding to rapid changes in condition
• Administer and titrate vasoactive and sedation drips per physician orders
• Manage ventilators, arterial lines, central lines, and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
• Perform conscious sedation, IV insertion, and phlebotomy
• Participate in rapid response and code interventions
• Collaborate with intensivists and interdisciplinary teams on individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and ongoing care needs
• Maintain thorough, accurate clinical documentation

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN license (primary source verification through NYSED required)
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) minimum
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience
• Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation, IV insertion, and phlebotomy experience
