Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Travel Assignment
Position Overview
The facility seeks a Cardiovascular Operating Room nurse for a 16-week contract assignment. You'll join a surgical team providing direct patient care and support during cardiothoracic and vascular procedures.
Schedule & Duration
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
- Start Date: November 15, 2026
- Contract Length: 16 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Yes
Clinical Scope
Work in a busy CVOR environment assisting with cardiothoracic and vascular surgical procedures. You'll manage instrumentation, anticipate surgeon needs, maintain sterile fields, and monitor patient safety throughout cases. Experience with open-heart surgery, valve repair/replacement, and vascular interventions is beneficial.
Requirements
- RN license (Tennessee)
- CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) or ability to obtain
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Proven CVOR experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
