Pediatric Emergency Department Registered Nurse
Position Overview
The facility's Pediatric Emergency Department is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for night shifts. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment serving pediatric patients of varying acuities.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Schedule: Four 9-hour shifts per week
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Contract Duration: 89 weeks
Requirements
- 2+ years of pediatric emergency department experience
- Current BLS and PALS certifications
- Willingness to float to other ER units
- Available for holiday rotation as needed
- Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
- Nicotine-free facility; subject to testing along with drug screening
Clinical Environment
You'll work in an emergency setting caring for pediatric patients presenting with acute and urgent conditions. The role involves rapid assessment, emergency interventions, and coordinated care alongside physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
Uniform
Any color scrubs are acceptable.
