Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. This is a 13-week contract position offering 36 guaranteed hours per week.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend (no call)
- Float flexibility to similar units within the Wichita area as needed
Clinical Scope
You'll provide care to cardiac patients in a specialized ICU setting, utilizing your clinical skills and cardiac knowledge to support high-acuity cases.
Requirements
- Current RN license (verification required)
- Professional references and skills checklist submission
- Completion of facility-specific onboarding assessments, including specialty exam, EKG exam, and core competencies
- Standard compliance requirements: immunizations (MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, Influenza), TB screening, background check, and drug screen
- ACLS certification required upon onboarding
