OR First Assist RN — Pittsfield, MA
13-Week Contract | Days | Monday–Friday
This perioperative opportunity is ideal for an experienced OR First Assist RN ready to step into a fast-paced surgical environment. The position supports a dedicated OR unit with float coverage to the main OR as needed.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 8-hour days
- Monday–Friday, 40 hours guaranteed
- On-call by rotation (main OR)
- Holidays required if operationally needed
Clinical Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of current First Assist OR experience
- Proficiency in both scrub and circulate roles is required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Active CNOR certification required
- AHA BLS required
- Perioperative skills checklist (current within 1 year) must reflect both scrub and circulate proficiencies
Additional Details
- Facility-provided scrubs
- Must have personal transportation
- 8-hour non-billable orientation
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Maximum of 5 days RTO; all requests must be submitted at time of profile upload — no exceptions after offer
- Two specific interview dates/times of availability required at submission
