Med/Surg Telemetry RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a 13-week contract. You'll provide care to patients on a telemetry unit with potential to float to other units caring for similar patient populations.

Shift & Schedule

• Rotating day/night schedule: 3x12-hour shifts
• Day shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Shifts may be adjusted to meet operational needs; the facility will honor preferred schedules when possible
• Must work every other holiday
• Start date: November 20, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry or equivalent specialty
• Permanent Ohio license or compact state license (in hand at submission)
• Active certifications required:
• BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• One professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in your specialty (no co-worker references)
• References must be from assignments within the past 12 months

During Orientation

You'll complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment. Both require acceptable scores to continue; you have two attempts maximum to pass.

What to Know

• This is a travel nursing position
• Background check and drug screening required
• BCI/FBI clearance must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions available)
