Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist
Position Overview
The facility's Cardiac Catheterization Lab is seeking an experienced technologist to join a high-volume interventional cardiology team. You'll work Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, performing a full spectrum of diagnostic and interventional procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Scope of Practice
You'll assist with procedures including left and right heart catheterizations, high-risk percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), pacemaker placements, peripheral interventions, and structural heart procedures. You'll also support advanced technologies such as EMCO and EKOS systems.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in interventional or diagnostic cardiac catheterization
- Associate degree in health science or completion of an accredited cardiovascular technology or radiology program
- BLS certification
- AART or RCIS certification
- Proven cath lab experience required
Schedule & Contract Details
- Hours: 36 guaranteed weekly hours
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Holiday Requirements: You must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
