CT Technologist – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional CT procedures under the direction of the Radiologist and CT Supervisor. You'll work independently in a fast-paced environment, applying sound technical judgment while adhering to ALARA principles for radiation safety.
Shift & Schedule
- Monday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Saturday: 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM
- Minimal holiday and backup call coverage required
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire CT scans according to departmental protocol
- Perform interventional cases, CT angiography, and advanced 3D reconstruction
- Administer IV, oral, and rectal contrast
- Assist the Radiologist during interventional procedures
- Coordinate daily workload by scheduling inpatients and prioritizing emergency cases
- Review exams for completeness prior to radiologist submission
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and a clean work area
- Complete documentation and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Support flexible 24/7 department coverage as needed
Required Qualifications
- Current ARRT certification
- NH Imaging License
- BLS Certification
- Previous CT scan experience
- ARRT CT Registry eligibility preferred
Physical Demands
Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds; occasional lifting to 50 pounds. Position involves sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
