Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Lone Tree, CO | Nights | 13-Week Contract
This night shift PCU position is based on a busy 5th-floor medical unit managing intermediate-acuity cardiac and medical patients. The unit runs a collaborative care model with a dedicated charge nurse, multiple RNs, and medical support technicians on each shift.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Self-scheduling options available
Clinical Scope
The unit manages patients requiring:
- Cardiac drips and cardiac catheters
- Chest tube management
- Wound care
- TPN/lipid administration
Patients are monitored with cardiac monitoring equipment throughout their stay.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care PCU experience
- Active RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Cardiac and/or ICU experience
- Prior progressive care or step-down background
