PACU RN – Richmond, VA | 13-Week Contract

This PACU position is based in Richmond, VA and offers a 91-week opportunity (13-week initial contract) with 36 guaranteed hours per week. The start date is October 5, 2026.

Shift & Schedule

Day shift positions follow a waterfall schedule with start times of 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 12:00 PM, covering 9-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts. On-call coverage is required on weekdays from 9:30 PM – 8:00 AM and weekends on a 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM rotating basis among staff.

Typical Procedures

• PCA pump setup
• Drip titration and management
• Arterial line blood draws

Required Skills

• PACU or ICU clinical background — required
• Strong neurology/neurosurgery experience — required
• Ventilator competency — required
• Drip titration experience — preferred
• Neurosurgery experience — preferred

Required Certifications

• ACLS
• PALS
