Critical Care RN – CCU

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Critical Care RN to join its CCU team. You'll provide direct patient care in a community-focused setting committed to keeping patients close to home during recovery.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts (19:00 – 07:30)
• Weekend rotation required
• Call rotation: 1 shift per 2-week period in place of guaranteed hours that week
• Float to Acute Care/Med-Surg as needed

Clinical Scope

The CCU manages high-acuity critical care patients. You'll need strong assessment, monitoring, and intervention skills typical of coronary care and progressive cardiac nursing.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years RN Critical Care experience
• Current Colorado RN license in good standing
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Current flu vaccination required (October 1 – April 1; no exemptions)
• Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
• Colorado CAPS registration (apply immediately; processing takes up to 2 weeks)

Contract Details

• 13 weeks
• Start date: October 27, 2026
• 36 guaranteed hours per week

Location

Between Denver and Grand Junction on the I-70 Corridor.

Housing

On-site furnished apartments available (studio and 1-bedroom options), located one-half block from the hospital. Includes Wi-Fi, utilities, and laundry.
