Operating Room Circulating Nurse
Position Overview
The facility's Surgical Services Unit is seeking an experienced OR circulating nurse to support a diverse surgical schedule across two operating rooms and one endoscopy suite. You'll work with orthopedic, general surgery, ophthalmology, podiatry, obstetrics/gynecology, and endoscopy cases—approximately 40-50 cases per week.
Schedule & Details
- Shift: 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Thursday (36 hours/week)
- On-Call: 1 weekend per month + 3–4 nights per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: December 14, 2026
- Holiday Availability: Willingness to work and take call during Christmas and New Year holidays is required.
Requirements
- 2+ years of current OR circulating experience (required)
- Proficiency in orthopedic, general surgery, endoscopy, gynecology, and cesarean section cases
- Total joint replacement experience (required)
- Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Valid New Hampshire nursing license
- Previous travel nursing experience (highly preferred)
- Scrub experience (preferred)
