Cardiac Step-Down / PCU — Travel RN | Nights | Zanesville, OH

This 13-week night shift assignment (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours/week) is ideal for an experienced cardiac step-down RN with a strong open-heart background.

The Unit

You'll care for cardiac and medical-surgical step-down patients, including heart cath recovery, patients on cardiac drips, and post-operative open-heart patients. While ventilator patients are not typically admitted to this unit, you should be prepared to manage a ventilated patient on rare occasions based on patient need.

Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Approximately every 3rd weekend
• One holiday coverage required (subject to change)
• No routine on-call; rare call days possible during census fluctuations
• Float to other units may be required during low census or staffing coverage events

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of cardiac step-down experience
• Experience with open-heart post-operative patients, heart cath recovery, and cardiac drips
• Comfort providing care to ventilated patients if needed
• BLS and ACLS required
• Active RN license
