Operating Room Nurse – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Operating Room nurse to join the surgical services team. You'll assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. You'll be accountable for the quality of nursing services you deliver and may supervise others.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Hours: 40 hours guaranteed per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 24, 2026
- Weekend & On-Call: Schedule to be determined by the facility
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of recent General OR experience (required)
- Expertise in GYN, bariatrics, vascular, ortho, neuro, and/or plastics (required)
- Current RN license (Maryland) with active verification less than 30 days old
- BLS (AHA) certification – current and active
- Flu and COVID vaccinations – both required; declinations not accepted (must be state-recorded)
- Previous travel nursing experience (required)
- Flexibility with scheduling; no restrictions accepted
