Operating Room RN – 13-Week Assignment

About the Role

The facility is seeking an experienced OR RN to join the surgical team. You'll assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients undergoing general, gynecological, bariatric, vascular, orthopedic, neurosurgical, and plastic procedures. You'll work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical technicians to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes. This role includes accountability for the quality of care you deliver and may involve supervising other OR staff.

Schedule & Assignment

• Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Hours: 40 guaranteed per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 24, 2026
• No weekends, no on-call, no holidays

Required Qualifications

• Current Maryland RN license (verification dated within 30 days)
• 2+ years recent General OR experience (required)
• Experience across GYN, bariatrics, vascular, ortho, neuro, and plastics (required)
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Current flu and COVID-19 vaccinations (state-recorded; declinations not accepted)
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Willingness to work the facility's schedule without restrictions
• Two supervisory references (one from last 6 months, one from last 12 months)
