Labor & Delivery Nurse – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery nurse to join its maternity services team. You'll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in accordance with professional nursing standards and organizational policies. This role requires specialized knowledge and clinical judgment to deliver high-quality care in a high-volume labor and delivery environment.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (36 guaranteed hours per week)
- On-call schedule to be determined by the facility
- Weekend schedule to be determined by the facility
- No scheduling restrictions accepted; full flexibility required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of recent high-volume Labor & Delivery experience
- Current RN license (Maryland)
- Active ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Active BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Active EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification
- Active NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification
- NRP certification preferred
- Flu and COVID vaccinations required (state record documentation)
- Previous travel nursing experience required
