Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – 12-Hour Days

Position Overview

Join the ICU team for a 13-week assignment beginning December 7, 2026. This role offers a dynamic acute-care environment managing high-acuity patients across cardiac, medical, and surgical populations.

Schedule & Expectations

• 12-hour day shifts: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• First-to-float to telemetry and emergency department for ICU holds
• Expected to work holiday rotations as needed
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

Clinical Environment

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 3 years ICU experience (2+ years acceptable from large teaching institutions)
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred

Support & Orientation

An in-house intensivist, respiratory therapy, and 24/7 pharmacy support your practice. One day of ICU orientation plus one shift on the telemetry/stepdown unit will prepare you for independent practice.
