MedSurg/Tele Float Pool RN

Position Overview

Join the float pool serving our medical-surgical and telemetry units. You'll work 12-hour day shifts (6:45 AM–7:15 PM) with every-other-weekend rotation. This is a 13-week contract starting December 7th, with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Clinical Scope

Float Requirements

As a float pool RN, you must be comfortable floating between medical-surgical and telemetry units. You'll receive one hour of orientation to locate supplies and resources, plus one day of telemetry-focused orientation. Telemetry is the highest level of acuity you'll encounter in this role.

Required Certifications & Skills

• BLS (AHA) and ACLS
• NIHSS certification
• Must be able to read and interpret cardiac strips
• Preferred: Basic arrhythmia course certification

24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy support available.

Additional Information

The facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment. Expect rotation into holiday schedules with permanent staff.
